Throughout the marketing messages of the Azure Paint Studio, there is a consistent image of a little girl highlighted by a blue background dotted with butterflies. What does this symbolize, and why is it so integral to the purpose of the studio?
David and Oksana, the husband-wife duo that founded Azure, were given the painting featuring the little girl by a dear friend. Shortly thereafter, the beloved friend passed away. The owners were inspired to create a place that offered the public the same joy that their friend had given them. So began the story of Azure Paint Studio.
The name “Azure” stems from the blue found in the painting; it is the color of the sky on a crystal-clear day. The painting itself — with the colors and the objects — represents the beauty and influence that can spread throughout the world to others. The little girl, a symbol of pure innocence, open-mindness, and joy, is what David and Oksana hope to offer through their studio. The central purpose of the studio is to provide an environment where all abilities are welcome, painting is a fulfilling activity, and art is used to inspire people and bring peace to the world.
The manner in which the little girl is depicted in the video on the Azure website — a free, cheerful spirit that sees all the beauty in the world — so too is the message of the founders. Azure hopes to establish a center for creativity, liberty of expression, celebration of earth’s little wonders, and enthusiasm for life that transcends the walls of the studio. Come and find your happy place at Azure Paint Studio!
